This year, we're going skiing not once - but twice!
Tom was away for 'PropSki' - an annual networking event for people who work in property, that just so happens to take place in ski resorts. This year, it was in Chamonix. We've been to Chamonix before and didn't particularly think it was anything to write home about. But, a mere 30 minutes away is Courmayeur. And Courmayeur is a different story.
Courmayeur is in Italy on the other side of the Mont Blanc tunnel. It's a perfect place for a short ski trip: not too big, easy to get around, and with some excellent restaurants. Plus, let's not forget the coffee: this is what Italy is for! A cappuccino on the side of the mountain after a few ski runs? Yes, please.
So I flew out on Wednesday night whilst Tom took a transfer from Chamonix and we had a fantastic four days on the Italian slopes. Pure delight!
